Coast 2 Coast Indie Artist of the Week: Sylent
Sylent has been leveraging the power of Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes for a while now, Starring on Vol. 24 with DJ Khaled was just the beginning of the buzz that has began surrounding this Massachusetts emcee since he began using Coast 2 Coast for his promotion more than a year ago. Since then, he has been featured on more than 10 mixtapes, was in the Source Magazine and one of his joints on a mixtape caught the ear of Coast 2 Coast affiliate DJ Noodles who played Sylent's song on his Sirius Satellite Radio show, Fix Your Face Radio, on Hip-Hop Nation Channel 40. Sylent is currently in the process of recording new joints for his exclusive Sylent/Coast 2 Coast Mixtape coming summer of '09!
