Food for the Spirit

The spiritual gift for the month of DECEMBER is LIFE!
This is the time of year when we reflect on what we experienced this year and begin to prepare for the New Year. Your spiritual gift of LIFE gives you the ability to heal, cure and restore anything in your existence that is out of proper alignment with your true self. When you draw upon your gift of LIFE, you are activating the Christ, divine consciousness or God individualized within you!



Every day you should ask yourself, “Am I living the LIFE I was born to live?” As you go about your daily activities, take notice of the wonders of LIFE that is evenly present all around you. Recognize how the operation, detail and perfection of your body parts work together in harmony within you as an expression of LIFE!


Human beings are the only species on Earth that have the ability to affect its own LIFE through various states of conscious thinking. That means the future of your world depends on you and how you use your spiritual gift of LIFE. Sometimes people get so preoccupied with death and worrying about what happens to them when the pass on from this physical realm, that they forget how to enjoy LIFE they have right now! Don’t waste your thoughts, time or energy with any of those fears, LIFE is for the living, everyday is a wonder, take your time and enjoy it fully!


Even when your physical LIFE on Earth ends, your LIFE continues through spirit forever! Remember, you are a spiritual being, having human experiences and spirit always returns to itself. Perhaps, this is why in Jesus taught his disciples, “God is not the God of the dead, but of the living”! LIFE is a journey, not a destination; it is a process of development, attainment and mastery that is evolving within you!


During this month people all over the world will celebrate the holidays of Hanukah, Christmas and Kwanzaa. These holidays are a great time for you to connect with family, friends and community to share the joy of LIFE! As you take time to share these beautiful occasions, you have a wonderful opportunity to spread the joy, peace and love of LIFE that comes through you each day! Let your light and love shine so bright, that people will see the LIFE of God within you and all that you do!


Also, this time of year, be careful not to get caught in the holiday madness of the “mass marketing machine”, it will have you running around trying to keep up with the latest “must have item” and will drain the physical, mental and financial LIFE right out of you if you’re not consciously aware!

As you go through LIFE, you must always remember that you are the physical manifestation of a true and living God within you, expressing through you, as you, so that you may enjoy “LIFE more abundantly”, as you were born to do! It is true, you let It be and there It is, Word!
